Refund policy

How refunds work for our Shopify apps, spreadsheet templates and web services.

The short version
  • Apps: try the free plan first, and cancel any time by downgrading or uninstalling.
  • Apps: charged by mistake? Write within 30 days and we'll refund through Shopify.
  • Templates: digital downloads, so no refunds. If a file doesn't work, we fix it.
  • Services: you pay for work done. Advance for work not started comes back to you.
Section 1

Shopify apps

Every app has a free plan, so you can try it on your store before paying anything. Some paid plans also start with a free trial (Kurb Pro: 14 days); cancel before it ends and you pay nothing.

Cancelling

Move to the free plan inside the app, or uninstall the app. Uninstalling cancels the paid plan and Shopify stops future charges for it. You won't be charged again after cancelling.

Charges already made

We don't refund part months or unused time. We will refund a charge if:

  • you were charged by mistake, for example twice or for the wrong plan; or
  • the app didn't work as described on its listing and we couldn't fix it.

Write to us within 30 days of the charge. App refunds are issued only through Shopify, and appear on your Shopify bill.

Section 2

Spreadsheet templates

Templates are digital files you download straight away, so we don't offer refunds or exchanges once you've bought one.

If something's wrong, such as a file that won't open, a broken formula or the wrong file, message us on Etsy or email us with your order number. We'll fix it or send you a working copy. Etsy's own purchase protection also applies where Etsy's rules allow, for example if a download was never delivered.

This doesn't affect any rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Section 3

Web services

Payments follow the milestones in your quote.

  • Before work starts: if you cancel, we refund any advance in full.
  • During the project: if either of us ends it, you pay for the work done so far, and we refund any advance for work not yet started.
  • If we can't deliver what the quote says, we refund the part we didn't deliver.

Third-party costs we've paid for you, such as a theme, app or font licence, follow that seller's own refund policy.

Section 4

How to ask for a refund

Email support@silverthink.in with:

  • your store's .myshopify.com address and the app name, for apps;
  • your Etsy order number, for templates;
  • your invoice number, for services.

We'll reply within 7 working days. Approved refunds are sent within 14 days: through Shopify for apps, and to the original payment method for services.
